Our summer camp for elementary and middle school children is about to start — thanks to the support we recently received from the Jim Moran Foundation.
The foundation gave us a $30,000 grant to help us pay for the camp, which goes from June 10 -July 19 and is available for up to 50 children.
“We are so grateful to the foundation – thank goodness for them,” said Rhonda Rogers, executive director of Lake Worth West Resident Planning Group.
The new funding will replace the $100,000 grant from Impact 100, which ended on May 31.
Our camp runs Monday through Friday from 7:30 am – 5:30 pm, and offers field trips, STEM education, and many other activities.
